Honor Flight LI - Vietnam War Memorial
Honor Flight LI - Vietnam War Memorial
Since 2007 Honor Flight Long Island has had the privilege of escorting WWII & Korean War veterans to their memorials in Washington D.C.
Recently Honor Flight Long Island took a group of Vietnam Veterans and one WWII Veteran to visit “The Wall”, the WWII Memorial, the National Archives and Arlington National Cemetery to watch the changing of the guards at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
With this flight Honor Flight LI continues to show respect and admiration to Veterans and hopes that this trip will help heal a wound that was opened as a result of the Vietnam War.
