Honor Flight Long Island, is a regional hub in the national Honor Flight Network whose mission is to honor America's veterans by providing an all-expenses-paid, round-trip excursion to their Memorials in Washington DC.

Recently Honor Flight Long Island took a group of WWII Veterans to visit the WWII Memorial in Washington DC and Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington County, Virginia to watch the changing of the guards and participate in laying a wreath at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
